1. How do I access my account?

To access your account, you must first be enrolled into the Miles Driven™ program. After enrolment, you simply login to your account on the login page from the top right of this website or from the Smartphone app.

2. How is First Time Login different from normal login?

When your dealer signs you up into the program (usually at the time of purchase of a new or used vehicle), you will need to use First Time Login to complete your enrollment into the program. First Time Login requires different information (your name and phone number) than typical login which requires email address and password. You can only use First Time Login one time. Each subsequent login will require you to use your email address and password to access your account.

3. Where can I download the Miles Driven™ Smartphone app?

You can download the Miles Driven™ app for your Smartphone or tablet at the Apple Store, Google Play, or the Blackberry App World. Search for Miles Driven™ or go to our download page to find links to the various app stores.

4. Does it cost anything to download the Miles Driven™ app?

No, the app is free to download and use. There are no hidden fees.

5. Which mobile phones or tablets can I download the Smartphone app onto?

Miles Driven™ is compatible with most common and recent Smartphones, Tablets, Laptops and Desktop computers. Although, Miles Driven™ will work on many devices, it is optimized to work with the devices listed below:

iOS 7.0 and above iPhone 4 and above, iPad, iPod Touch
Android 4 and above Various Smartphones and tablets
Blackberry 10 and above Blackberry Z10, Q10, Z30

6. Can I enrol into the Miles Driven™ program from the Smartphone app, mobile website and desktop website?

Yes, you can enrol with Miles Driven™ from the website or the app itself.

7. What can I expect from the Miles Driven™ Smartphone app?

You can use the Miles Driven™ Smartphone app to:

  • Access your Miles Driven™ account to check your Driven$ balance
  • View relevant and personalized offers based on your vehicle and mileage
  • Engage and earn extra Driven$ by:
    • Entering in your mileage regularly
    • Book a service appointment
    • Refer a test drive of a vehicle at your favourite dealer to a friend
    • Refer a friend to the program
  • View maintenance service schedule for your vehicle
  • View your Dealership details such as contact information for key departments and business hours
  • View history of Driven$ transactions and mileage
  • View and update your personal information including password

8. Can I see the website on my mobile phone?

Yes, the website and the application will display optimally on all compatible smartphones and tablets.

9. The mobile site does not display well on my phone.

Check your smartphone’s screen/display resolution settings and adjust for the most optimal size. Please contact us if you are experiencing issues with improper display on your smartphone.

10. What does it mean to have a default vehicle in my account?

In the event you have more than one vehicle enrolled into the Miles Driven™ program, you can designate the one vehicle that you drive most often as your default vehicle. This will make it easy for you to enter mileage and track all related offers and information for this vehicle and its dealer. You can change your default vehicle any time from “My Vehicles” under Tools or by clicking on the “Change Vehicle” icon on the bottom of the app or your account on the website.

11. What is the difference between default vehicle and change vehicle?

All transactions and information being viewed are for the current selected vehicle, which is shown the bottom bar. To view information for a different vehicle temporarily, click on the “Change Vehicle” icon and select a new vehicle and click on “Change Vehicle”.

Default vehicle is always displayed at the bottom and remains the primary vehicle to conduct transactions with. When you logout and log back into Miles Driven™, the default vehicle remains the current active vehicle.

Changing vehicle only changes the current active vehicle to another vehicle temporarily. Next time you login, your default vehicle will become active.

12. What information can I change for my vehicle?

You can edit the following items for your vehicle using the Miles Driven™ dashboard: Colour, license plate, province of plate and preferred mileage unit and designate as default vehicle.

13. How do I remove a vehicle from my profile?

Since your vehicle is linked to the earned Driven$ in your account, you must ask your dealer to transfer your existing balance to another vehicle and to remove a vehicle.

14. Can I change my vehicle mileage reading from miles to Kilometers (KM)?

Yes, you can change the mileage unit from miles to Kilometers as required from editing your vehicle information under “My Vehicles” found within Tools section of the app and website.

15. Is there a limit to how many times I can enter mileage?

There is no limit to the number of times you can enter mileage. The more times you enter mileage, the more relevant offers you will see. Some dealers may limit the number of times you will be rewarded with Driven$ for entering mileage. For your dealer’s limitations, refer to the Earn Driven$ schedules from your account.

16. How do you determine my relevant offers if I haven’t updated my mileage?

Miles Driven™ requires your mileage history to provide relevant offers to you. If your mileage history is not updated regularly, Miles Driven™ will use your estimated annual mileage or industry averages.

17. Will I receive a confirmation of the service appointment (made through Miles Driven™ website or Smartphone app) before I visit my dealer?

Upon booking a service appointment through the Miles Driven™ website or Smartphone app, you will receive an email acknowledging your service appointment request. Your dealer’s service representative will contact you to confirm the appointment usually within 24-48 hours of you receiving the acknowledgment email. If you don’t receive a confirmation, please contact your service department directly.

18. How can I refer my friends to test drive a vehicle at my dealer?

Simply choose Tools -> Refer A Test Drive and provide the necessary information. Your friend will receive an email with test drive request details with further instructions. You must choose the dealer in this screen to whom this request is being sent to.

19. Is there a limit to how many friends I can refer a test drive for?

You can refer as many friends as you want to test drive a vehicle from your dealer. Some dealers may limit the number of times you will be rewarded with Driven$ for referring friends for test drives. For your dealer’s limitations and for the reward amounts, refer to the Earn Driven$ schedules from your account.

20. What happens after I refer my friends to the Miles Driven™ program?

Your friend(s) will receive a notification from Miles Driven™ informing them you have referred them to the program. For each friend who enrolls into the Miles Driven™ program, you will earn Driven$. Refer to the Earn Driven$ schedules from your account to determine how many Driven$ you will earn for referring friends.

21. Is there a limit to how many friends I can refer to the Miles Driven™ Program?

There is no limit to how many friends you refer to the Miles Driven™ program. Some dealers may limit the number of times you will be rewarded with Driven$ for referring friends to the program. For your dealer’s limitations, refer to the Earn Driven$ schedules from your account.

Common questions regarding the Miles Driven™ Program

1. How do I enrol into the program?

You may enrol into the program in 2 ways. In the first method, your participating dealer will enrol you into the program when you purchase a new or used vehicle. At the time of enrollment, your dealer may reward you with a sign up bonus by depositing some Driven$ into your account.

Secondly, you may also sign up yourself via the website or Smartphone app. You can only enroll if your dealer participates in the Miles Driven™ program. Your dealership is determined by either the dealer where you purchased your vehicle and/or where you service your vehicle. Your dealer may have to provide approval of your enrollment.

2. What if my dealer is currently not offering Miles Driven™ but I want to enrol?

Miles Driven™ is a new loyalty program and it will take some time for all dealers to participate in this program. Until then, feel free to suggest a dealer you would like to enrol with here and we will contact them on your behalf. Alternatively, you can also recommend us to your dealer by visiting this link.

4. Are there any upfront or hidden membership fees?

No, there are no upfront or hidden membership fees. Simply sign up, download and start earning Driven$.

5. Can I enrol into the program more than once?

You can enrol multiple vehicles with participating dealers into the program. All vehicles enrolled via one or more dealerships will be accessible to you through your one account. You do not need multiple accounts.

6. Can I enrol into the Miles Driven™ program from the Smartphone app and website?

Yes, you can enrol into Miles Driven™ from either the Smartphone app or this website with participating dealers.

7. Do I have to visit the dealer to enrol into the program?

You do not have to visit your dealer to enrol into the program. You may enrol directly from the website or the Smartphone app. Your dealer may have to provide approval of your enrollment.

8. Can I enrol a used car with Miles Driven™?

Yes. Both new and used vehicles can be enrolled with Miles Driven™.

9. Do I ever have to renew my Miles Driven™ membership?

No. Your Miles Driven™ membership does not expire and there is no need to renew once you've enrolled.

10. What kind of relationship do I need with a dealer to enrol into the program?

You must have either purchased your vehicle or service your vehicle at a participating dealer to enroll into the Miles Driven™ program.

11. How do I find offers and promotions relevant to me?

Each time you login to your account, you will be presented with offers and promotions that are relevant to you and your vehicle. You may also wish to receive these offers and promotions via email and/or text message (SMS).

12. I am missing Driven$. What do I do?

Your primary point of contact is your dealership. Should you still have questions, you may contact Miles Driven™.

13. How do I stop getting emails from Miles Driven™

You can adjust your email and text message notifications settings from within your profile from the website of Smartphone app.

14. How can I add another vehicle to the program?

To add another vehicle to your Miles Driven™ account simply click on My Account > My Vehicles in your account. You will see a button to ‘Add Vehicle.’ Simply enter all relevant information and you’re on your way to start earning Driven$.

15. What happens to my Driven$ when I sell my vehicle or trade it in?

You are able to transfer your current Driven$ balance towards your next new or used vehicle purchased at your dealership. Simply ask your dealership to transfer the balance at time of the purchase of your next vehicle.

16. How can I see my Driven$ balance and transactions?

You can always see your Driven$ balance and transaction history under the My History -> Driven$ Transactions from your Account. You will also see your current balance on top of most pages in your account.

17. How long does it take for my transactions to be posted into my account?

Transactions conducted at a dealership are usually posted into your account immediately. Occasionally there may be some delays where it can take up to 5 business days to post and view these transactions. Driven$ earned for entering your mileage will be posted immediately.

17a. How long does it take for Driven$ to be posted to my account when I booked a service appointment through Miles Driven™?

Driven$ earned as a result of booking a service appointment through Miles Driven™ are posted at the same time you visit the dealership and complete your service appointment. You will usually have 60 calendar days from the date of the service booking to completing the service appointment in order to earn Driven$. Check with your dealer to see if they offer a longer period in between booking and completing a service appointment.

17b. How long does it take for Driven$ to be posted to my account when I referred a test drive through Miles Driven™?

Driven$ earned as a result of referring a friend for a test drive through Miles Driven™ are posted within 5 business days of your friend visiting and completing the test drive at your dealership. Your friend must inform the dealership sales representative of your referral at the time of the test drive.

17c. How long does it take for Driven$ to be posted to my account when I referred a friend to the Miles Driven™ Program?

Driven$ earned as a result of referring a friend to join the Miles Driven™ Program through your account at Miles Driven™ are posted within 5 business days of your friend enrolling into the program. Your friend’s enrollment may be subject to approval from your dealership.

18. What does it mean to have my earned Driven$ linked to a specific vehicle?

Driven$ are earned and redeemed with a specific vehicle and associated with this vehicle. Driven$ earned from one vehicle can only be redeemed against another vehicle if both vehicles were enrolled with the same dealership. Redemptions from vehicles enrolled with a different dealer are not permitted across different dealers.

19. Does Miles Driven™ affect my vehicle’s warranty?

Miles Driven™ reminds of you upcoming service needs based on your vehicle service maintenance schedule so you can maximize the value of your vehicle by adhering to the manufacturer’s warranty schedule. Miles Driven™ does not directly affect your vehicle’s warranty.

20. Can I cancel my Miles Driven™ membership at any time?

Your enrollment in Miles Driven™ can be cancelled by you by stopping your active participation in the program. You cannot withdraw remaining Driven$ as cash. When you remain inactive for a period of time, your will continue to have access to your account and Driven$ balance.

21. Can I enrol a motorcycle, scooter or ATV?

Currently Miles Driven™ applies only to most 4-wheeled vehicles. The program will soon be available for motorcycles, scooters and ATVs.

22. Once I enrol, how long does it to take before I start earning Driven$?

You can start earning and redeeming Driven$ immediately after your enrollment is completed. See the many ways you can earn Driven$ here.

23. Can I transfer Driven$ to a friend or family member?

Driven$ cannot be transferred. In the event of a death of a Miles Driven™ member, the Driven$ balance may be transferred. Upon death, Driven$ balance may be transferred to the beneficiary who received the vehicle provided that the vehicle continues to be serviced by the Dealer where Driven$ were earned. The executor of the estate must contact Miles Driven™ and provide Miles Driven™ with proof of death, a copy of a valid last will and testament commanding the transfer the ownership of the vehicle, and proof of transfer of the vehicle.

24. Can I transfer my membership to a friend or family member?

Your Miles Driven™ membership cannot be transferred. In the event of a death of a Miles Driven™ member, the Driven$ balance may be transferred. Upon death, Driven$ balance may be transferred to the beneficiary who received the vehicle provided that the vehicle continues to be serviced by the Dealer where Driven$ were earned. The executor of the estate must contact Miles Driven™ and provide Miles Driven™ with proof of death, a copy of a valid last will and testament commanding the transfer the ownership of the vehicle, and proof of transfer of the vehicle.

25. Can I exchange Driven $ for actual currency?

Although, one Driven$ is equivalent to one Canadian dollar ($1.00). Driven$ shall not be exchanged for cash.

26. What happens if I sell my car? Do my Driven$ carry over to the new owner?

Driven$ do not carry over to the new owner. When you sell your vehicle, your Driven$ will be transferred to your next vehicle purchased your dealer. Your balance will be transferred to new vehicle enrolled from the same dealership where you earned your Driven$ for the original vehicle. Ask your dealership sales rep to transfer the Driven$ balance at the time of the purchase of your new or used vehicle.

Earning Driven$

1. What is a Driven$

Who needs points when you can earn dollars? 1 Driven$ is equivalent to $1.00. You earn Driven$ from applicable services or merchandise at your dealership. With Driven$, it is easier to keep track of your earnings and rewards.

2. Where can I earn Driven$

You can earn Driven$ at the participating dealer where you purchase or service your vehicle. If your preferred dealership is not currently participating, feel free to suggest a dealer here

3. How much can I earn?

It’s up to you. The more you engage with your dealership through Miles Driven™, the more Driven$ you earn. See a sample of the minimum rewards you can earn as a Miles Driven™ member here. Specific earning details are available from your account.

4. Are the offers on the Smartphone app the same as on the website?

Yes. Offers on the Smartphone app and website are tailored to you but do not change based on device.

5. Can I use bonus offers more than once?

Usually, you cannot take advantage of a special promotion more than one time unless specified in the promotion.

6. How long does it take for my transactions to be posted into my account?

Transactions conducted at a dealership are usually posted into your account immediately. Occasionally there may be some delays where it can take up to 5 business days to post and view these transactions. Driven$ earned for entering your mileage will be posted immediately.

Redeeming Driven$

1. What is a Driven$

2. Do I have to do anything to redeem Driven$?

Simply visit your dealer to redeem Driven$ on services performed at the dealership or for parts and merchandise sold at the dealership. Inform your dealer at the time of purchase or service of your wish to redeem and earn Driven$.

3. How much can I redeem?

Your Driven$ redemption allowance increases the more you engage with your dealer through the Miles Driven™ program. See a sample of rewards that members can redeem here. Specific redemption details are available from your account.

4. Where can I redeem Driven$

You can redeem Driven$ at the dealership where your vehicle is enrolled with.

5. Can I redeem Driven$ at any dealer?

You can redeem Driven$ only at the dealership you are enrolled with. A dealer may allow you to earn and redeem from sister dealerships. Check your account to determine if your dealer allows you to conduct transactions at its sister dealers.

6. Can I redeem Driven$ earned from all vehicles enrolled under the one Dealer at another dealership?

You can redeem Driven$ from one vehicle towards another one provided both vehicles were enrolled at the same dealership. Usually, you cannot redeem Driven$ at a dealer where Driven$ were not earned. A dealer may allow you to earn and redeem from sister dealerships. Check your account to determine if your dealer allows you to conduct transactions at its sister dealers.

7. Can I combine Driven$ earned from all vehicles enrolled under the one Dealer towards redemption?

You can redeem Driven$ from one vehicle towards another one provided both vehicles were enrolled at the same dealership.

Membership levels

1. What are the different membership levels and what do they offer?

Increase your earning potential by attaining a higher membership level. Your membership level is determined by the amount of Driven$ earned.

The main membership levels are: Miles Driven™ Member, Plus, Premium and Supreme. See sample benefits for the different membership levels here.

2. How do I achieve the next membership level?

You are automatically promoted to the next membership level once your earnings pass the minimum threshold for the next level. For example, Miles Driven™ Premium level is achieved once you have earned a total of 300 Driven$. You do not have to do call your dealership to move to the next level.

3. Can I ever move down to a lower level once I achieve a higher level?

Miles Driven™ promotes you upon Driven$ earned without taking redemptions into consideration. Therefore, you cannot move to a lower level once you have achieved a higher level and remain an active member.

4. How does enrolling multiple vehicles affect my membership levels?

Driven$ earned from all vehicles enrolled under the same dealership are combined towards meeting the threshold for the next membership level. The more you enroll and the more you earn, the more benefits you achieve.

5. Is there a time period after which my Driven$ expire?

Your Driven$ will not expire as long as you stay active in the program. In order to stay active, you must either earn or redeem within a 24 month period*. Check with your dealer to see if they reduce your Driven$ balance once you are an inactive member.

* Check with your dealer to see if they have a different activity period.

6. What happens to my Driven$ when I am no longer active?

Your Driven$ remain in your account when you’re inactive. Your Miles Driven™ account remains active even after your earning and redemption activities stop. Check with your dealer to see if they reduce your Driven$ balance once you are an inactive member.

7. Can I still log in and use the Miles Driven™ Smartphone app and website if I am no longer active?

Your Miles Driven™ account remains active even after your earning and redemption activities stop. However, if you remain inactive for more than 4 years, Miles Driven™ reserves the right to terminate your account.

Security and Privacy

1. How do I change my password?

Simply login to your Miles Driven™ account and click on “Change Password” under “My Account.” Your new password must be a minimum of 8 characters (letters and numbers combined).

2. I forgot my password or can’t login to Miles Driven™. How do I reset my password?

You can reset your password by clicking on Forgot Password link on the member login screen. Simply follow the instructions on the screen.

3. How do I change my personal information such as address or email?

Simply login to your Miles Driven™ account and click on ‘My Profile’ under the My Account tab to change or update your personal information such as email address, your postal address and phone numbers.

4. How do I change my name with Miles Driven™?

Simply login to your Miles Driven™ account and click on ‘My Profile’ under the My Account tab to change or update your name. Miles Driven™ may request proof of change of your name.

5. How do I stop getting emails from Miles Driven™?

Miles Driven™ uses email as a courteous way to send you personalized and relevant offers in case you don’t log into your account or Smartphone app very often. This ensures that you will continue to receive the important messages from Miles Driven™ and your dealer and take advantage to earn additional Driven$. Should you wish to stop receiving these emails, you can change your notification settings from your account at anytime. Simply go to My Account -> Settings to change your settings.

6. How do I change my notification settings?

Simply login to your Miles Driven™ account and click on ‘Settings’ under the ‘My Account’ tab to change or update your communication preferences.

7. If I opt in for text/SMS updates, what kinds of messages will I receive?

Your mobile phone number will only be used to send relevant and personalized offers and information from the Miles Driven™ Reward Program. This service is offered by Miles Driven™. Additional carrier messaging and/or data fees may apply. Check with your wireless service provider to determine applicable fees. To unsubscribe at any time, log into your account either through this website or Miles Driven™ Smartphone app to change your notification settings.

8. My mobile number has changed and I want to receive SMS/text messages on my new phone.

Simply login to your Miles Driven™ account and click on ‘Settings’ under the ‘My Account’ tab to update your mobile number. Alternatively, you can change your mobile number under your Personal Information link from My Account.

9. How many text messages will I receive on a monthly basis?

Usually, you will receive one to two text messages per vehicle per month, up to a maximum of 5 messages per month per vehicle.

10. Who do you share my email address with?

Your email address is only shared with your dealership. It may also be shared with our subcontractors who provide technical or customer service to you on our behalf. But they are under contract not to divulge any personal information of our members.

11. Is my privacy protected at Miles Driven™?
